I love that we set aside a whole day to honour and celebrate the women who raised us. Mother’s Day holds a special place in my own heart because of my own children who made me a Mother. Since they were little, I have adored waking up to their bright smiles bringing me the handmade gifts they’ve made with love and care. Moments such as these remind me motherhood is truly a gift and nurturing these little people’s development is my favourite job of all.
This year however Mother’s Day may look different for many families. For many of us, this means having Mother’s Day apart.
Luckily, there are ways to get creative and have a great Mother’s Day regardless. You can do simple acts of thoughtfulness from your home or partake in a socially distanced celebration. A little loving gesture will go a long way!
