Who We Are
Table of Plenty was established by Kate Weiss (click here to read more about Kate's story) to bring top quality products into the supermarkets; products with life, education, innovation and style that stands out from the ordinary.
For many years Kate has been passionate about food and flavours, about the different cultures of the world and the opportunity that we all have: to benefit from this table of plenty.
Kate has had the good fortune to live in many places around the world and to absorb and learn about many different and unique cuisines. Her food exploration and discovery has been a hands on experience.
Table of Plenty aims to share this wealth of experience and passion to our customers in the form of our products.
One of the aims and mission of Table of Plenty is to support organisations for children and people with disablities. We donate and supprt, for example, the following organisations:
- Yooralla
- MOIRA
- SCOPE
- RDA (Riding for the disabled)
- Jewish Care
Kate is also involved in leading projects that aim to give back to the community:
* Donate a Saying community project is an initiative where inspirational sayings are circulated via our products to many people all over Australia.
* Feminenza: Kate is one of the founding members of Feminenza, a worldwide organization that has the aim of building greater mutality between the genders and of educating women to bring out the best of themselves to contribute into their lives
* Give Girl a Chance: Kate is active in fund raising for this charitable side of Feminenza which supports many programs around the world which help women and girls who are the victims of unfortunate circumstances.
